Franklin County Sheriff's office = Theft- Corruption- Forgey- lies and much more

The Franklin county sheriffs office over the years has been involved in many corrupt activity's. This all started during the reign of Sheriff Jim Karnes and now continues through his protege Sheriff Zach Scott.

Many people have been wrongfully victimized by the sheriffs office while many in the news media and the public sit by with blinders on....

A problem arises when officials that oversee the department such as the Franklin County Commissioners turn a blind eye to the Theft- Corruption- Forgery and straight out Civil Rights violations due to inmates being brutally abused while Deputy's lie in many cases to cover up their crimes.

But the sad part is those (Deputy's) who get caught know many times they will get away with it due to the fact our County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien refuses to prosecute these Deputy's as the criminals they are...

Now I'm sure many are wondering "Why is the local news media not pushing to get these people prosecuted"

With rumors on the Internet that the current Sheriff has been involved in an affair with a local news media reporter, followed by a prosecutor who refuses to prosecute these criminals, its hard to get justice done.

Recently the news media did a quick story on two high ranking Sheriff officials who were involved in some very serious crimes..

THEFT
FORGERY
CORRUPTION

The news media blew the story off by allowing the Sheriff to be interviewed saying " The prosecutor will not charge these Deputy's"

Are you kidding me...
The very same men who over the years arrested individuals for the same offense they committed are now above the law.

We decided to see what ethics and morals our local news media has..

We sent out many e mails to all reporters on the three local news stations- Nbc4- Abc6- Wbns10tv..

Now remember up until now all 3 news stations have refused to push the story as to why these Deputy's still remain on the job and why they haven't been arrested....

We started with Tom Sussi - Tom is the local ambulance chaser in Columbus Ohio. Here is the type stories he does.

1- Recently Tom went to local full service car washes to check their honesty. He put $5 dollar bills- $10 dollar bills crunched up under his car seat and when the car was guys vacuumed his car the cameras would catch who took the money..He would then confront them face to face on camera.

2- He covered recently a pool contractor that screwed a family and he confronted them face to face.

You get the picture...

I recently sent him an e mail about the Sheriff Deputy's story and why he hasn't pursued it like he does with Car Wash employees and contractors..

Here is his coward excuse as to why he isn't covering the story..

Get me something new; and I will personally handle it with all the wrath I handle bad contractors.
However, I am not going to dredge up that old story. It's wrong. We're not prosecutors.

We decided as mentioned above to poll our local news reporters to get their opinion to see if they believe the Deputy's involved should be prosecuted..

HERE IS THE QUESTION WE POSED TO REPORTERS..

As a news reporter do you think if police officers are involved in theft- fraud-
forgery they should remain on the job or be prosecuted like anyone else who
commits the crime?

Robert

ANSWERS....

What does being a news reporter have to do with the subject of your question?
Does it make any difference if I’m a reporter, a corporate leader, a politician, or a construction worker?
Are we not all bound by the same laws, regardless of our profession?

If they’ve committed a crime, they should obviously be prosecuted. Do you have information that this is happening? I’d be interested in hearing more.

Robert,
As any employer, one option is to put that person on administrative review or leave while the charges are investigated…and if there’s evidence, then that person should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, just like anyone else…innocent until proven guilty….

Robert,

Of course they should be prosecuted.

Do you have information we need to know?

I think (and so does the law) that police officers should be investigated like
any other citizen--and if accused should be granted due process. If convicted,
the specifics of the crime would factor into whether I think they should lose
their job. Not likely for any of those three crimes.

Note....
We were unsure as to his meaning on the last sentence .."Not likely for any of those three crimes."
So we wrote him again to get his meaning..

Answer..---Sure--I meant it doesn't seem likely they would keep their jobs.

Good morning Robert:
Thank you for reaching out to us about this question. May I ask why you pose it?
And yes, a crime is a crime, no matter who commits it.
Hope you continue to watch 10tv.
My best,
Angela

Hi Robert,
Got your email this morning since I’m on the AM shift.
I think you’ve discussed this also with my husband, Marcus?
Hopefully, he’s able to help you out with any needs you have.
As you know, we’re not always able to share our opinions as journalists… but I would think that if there was indeed evidence of alleged theft, fraud, forgery that yes they should be prosecuted and given a fair trial.

As everyone can see most journalists agree they should be prosecuted like everyone else.
SO WHY HAVE THEY ALL SAT BY AND WATCHED THESE PEOPLE COMMIT CRIMES AND DO NOTHING TO FORCE THE ISSUE.  They chase people down everyday to expose wrong doing but when it comes to the Franklin county sheriffs office they do nothing..

HERE IS A LINK TO THE STORY OF THE DEPUTYS WHO COMMITED CRIMES..

WE WILL UPDATE THIS PAGE IF THE NEWS MEDIA STANDS UP AND DOES A REAL STORY PUSHING FOR THESE INDIVIDUALS TO BE PROSECUTED LIKE ANYONE ELSE IN THE PUBLIC WOULD BE.....

THIS JUST IN..

While finishing up this blog post Abc6 news did a promo commercial with Bob Kendrick - Yolanda Harris and Tom sussi.

This commercial has Bob Kendrick and Yolanda Harris telling viewers their Abc6 on your side team will go after anyone doing wrong in our community. The commercial ends with Tom Sussi saying "WE WONT LET THEM GET AWAY"

I guess that comment is for everyone excluding the Franklin County Sheriffs Office... WHAT A JOKE.....

Wbns 10tv also has a similar show exposing corruption, fraud etc. This program is done by Paul aker. Here is a bit from Pauls Bio..

Paul Aker is the lead investigative reporter for 10TV News HD's, 10 Investigates unit.
Paul specializes in exposing fraud, corruption, government waste and wrongdoing. Over his career, he has been honored with numerous awards for his stories that hold the powerful accountable, including several Emmy awards. Most recently, Aker was honored with an Edward R. Murrow award for his coverage that exposed corruption in the office of former Attorney General Marc Dann.

So why is Paul Aker not exposing this story and blowing it wide open..

Well to show you folks how political pressure works here in Columbus check this out.. all news media in columbus had been covering and exposing ( to a very minor degree) the corruption going on in the Franklin County sheriffs Office. (see Zach Scott Vote no Facebook link above)

Kristyn Hartman a new reporter from chicago decided for whatever reason she was going to cover a story about how compassionate and caring our sheriffs Department is...

Funny how this was done just a few months before the Sheriff Elections..

SO WHO WILL STEP UP AND EXPOSE A STORY THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN EXPOSED AND PUSHED FOR CRIMINAL CHARGES A LONG TIME AGO ?????

This just in 8-9-2012

We did a poll on the topix news forum and here is what people had to say..

Absolutely they should be punished like anyone else, maybe more because of the trust they were given and sworn to uphold. These ones bring a bad name to the men and women that risk their lives daily and do honor their badges and their duty.

What makes ANYONE even think that just because they wear a badge that they should get off ? They should get an even more stiffer PUNISHMENT THEN YOUR AVERAGE 'JOE'. Show them no mercy.

Theres no question they should be prosecuted....

THIS NEWS JUST IN...

ABC6 NEWS HAS A FREE ATTORNEY HOTLINE THAT TOM SUSSI ADVERTISES ON WEDNESDAYS. TODAY 8-22-12 I CALLED IN AND SPOKE TO THEIR ATTORNEY ERIC HOFFMAN WHO WAS ASKED THE QUESTION..

IF A PERSON FALSELY SIGNS A DOCTORS EXCUSE WHAT WOULD THAT FALL UNDER???

ERIC SAID HE WAS A CRIMINAL ATTORNEY AND THAT WOULD BE
FORGERY
THEFT
FELONY......

SO AGAIN WHY HAS ALL THE NEWS STATIONS REFUSED TO GO AFTER THEM LIKE ANY OTHER CRIMINAL?
